Not just one
crime here.
After the
drug police refused to return items that had been seized from 54 Balfour
Street, then Prophet applied for an application to the Cape Town
Magistrate's Court to force the drug police to
return everything that the drug police had seized from 54 Balfour
Street and a long list of items was provided to the court.
Below Annex VL1 is a copy extracted from the Judgement
of Magistrate Louw in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court.
In the trial
and under oath, Johan Smit made up a story and told the court that Prophet's things had been
destroyed because there was no storage space available.
In the Judgement
Magistrate Louw did say that nothing would prevent Prophet from making a
civil claim against the drug police.
