Below Annex VLR1 is a copy taken from the transcripts of the criminal trial court case number 16/236/03 and Magistrate Le Roux, after hearing witness testimony and looking at evidence, arrives at a final conclusion that the search by the drug police was done unlawfully.

As it turned out, in the criminal trial, according to the drug police, the unlawful search did not uncover anything unlawful and, on reflection, after examining all the items that had been unlawfully seized, the arresting officer admitted that nothing that was found or seized could warrant arresting Simon Prophet under the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act of 1992.
